“The customer is king.” – Henry Selfridge – Is that really purposeful?
The customer comes first – Customer Centricity – All his wishes should be fulfilled to the maximum during his personal customer journey. The customer is thus offered the best possible service, and you are thereby promised the supposed success of the company.
But is this true? Does your business success really depend only on the consumer? So what’s really up with Selfridges mantra?
Basically, the slogan is not necessarily purposeful. While you should make sure that the claims about the product as well as the customer journey are taken seriously. However, it is a fine line between the needs of the customer and one’s own principles.
Perhaps it is your own accents and values that excite the customer and make you stand out from all the others.
